Juvenile T rex or a seperate species altogether?  Well we'll leave that one up to you to decide, either way this was a truly magnificent animal in life. We have captured every minute detail of the original skull by creating a 3D map for perfect dimensional accuracy then re created the detail by photo mapping in a plaster of paris cast for total accuracy by our team of Paleoartists.


Finished in a Fossil brown (above to match the original cast)  with all of our handmade replicas, colours may vary slightly.

Nano skull

I live only 2 hours from where the original nano skull is at the CMNH. I’m in the process of building a museum and I wanted this skull to end the nano vs trex debate on an exhibit that will house both skulls hands and arms to show the differences John and his crew knocked it out of the park with this piece. Stunning!

I run a traveling museum and do lots of science communication work and this replica has been the perfect addition! It definitely wows people whenever I bring it out, and it makes the perfect centerpiece to talk about the Nanotyrannus/juvenile Tyrannosaurus debate and what we know about the lifecycle of Tyrannosaurus. The base and stand are excellent and sturdy and the included plaque is gorgeous, and it was packaged very well. I've bought from this store before and always gotten the best and this time was no different- one of my favorite pieces to date.
