Tyrannosaurus egg disappointing

Dear TPS, I was disappointed with the Tyrannosaur egg replica because of its painting. It's a very dark brown yet all the dinosaur eggs I've seen are more grey, depending on the matrix. It is also not the colour of the photo on the website. It is so dark it is impossible to identify as an egg from any distance. It looks like a dark brown oval object. This is a shame given the shell texture is good but masked by the dark pint.

Additionally, but less importantly, it would be nice if these replicas came with an information card. There is info on the website, but my package came with no info at all, including the skin impression replica sent with the egg.
